ROUTE 27

One of the busiest highways in Costa Rica with more than one million vehicles per year, a 450-meter stretch was paved using 500 tons of asphalt enriched with between 1% and 3% RESIN8™. This intervention, carried out in three sections of 150 meters, not only improves a strategic road, but also represents a concrete example of circular economy, by reincorporating the plastics collected along this same concessioned route into the road.
