DONKEY TRAIL

The Municipality of Carrillo and GLP Guanacaste Land Partners LLC promoted a large-scale road intervention that integrated circular economy principles into public infrastructure. An 8.7-kilometer stretch of public asphalt road was paved with RESIN8™, with a dosage of 3%. This application made it possible to divert plastic waste from landfills by reincorporating it into the road, extending the useful life of the paving and showing how regenerated materials can be integrated into high-impact urban projects.
