Join the Circular Plastic project:

I REDUCED,
RECYCLE AND TRANSFORM!

Plastico Circular Belén is a circular economy initiative that manages non-recoverable plastics in the canton of Belén, those that cannot be recycled in a traditional way, to prevent them from reaching the landfill or the environment, transforming them into RESIN8™, a synthetic sand used in sustainable construction.

Our Impact

+ 117 tonnes of non-recoverable plastic recovered
13.000 kilometers of electricity collection
• Active environmental education in public and private schools
• Plastic reincorporated into the production chain using RESIN8™

What do we do?

1. We recover
We collect non-recoverable plastics from shops, churches, schools and community halls.
2. We educate
We implement environmental education programs such as REAP and La Bolsa that he builds through the CRDC Foundation, forming responsible habits from childhood and youth.
3. We transform
The collected plastic is converted into RESIN8™, a synthetic sand used in construction, extending the life of the material by years.

What plastics do we receive?

We receive those plastics that cannot be recycled and that their only destination is the landfill, such as food wrapping, damaged plastic furniture, automotive plastic, ecoblocks, stereophone, PVC, among others.
It is not necessary to separate them, they can be delivered together in the same bag.

Collection with a low environmental footprint

We use an electric truck to carry out the collection route in the canton, reducing emissions associated with transportation and reinforcing our environmental commitment.

Recognition of those who join

Participating companies, businesses and institutions receive a distinctive seal that recognises their commitment to the responsible management of non-recoverable plastics.

Join the change, let's be zero plastic waste!
