Raw material made from regenerated plastics with the main objective of reducing the pollution of non-recoverable plastics and strengthening the circular economy, for the production of prefabricated products, dry concrete and ready-mixed concrete.
Concrete applications using RESIN8 exceed ASTM standards which are the international benchmark for material performance.
Video Description
Through an alliance with Ruta27, we transformed the plastic waste collected along the highway into RESIN8™, a raw material that was used in the asphalt mix used to maintain the road in one of its sections.
This example of circular economy allowed us to give a responsible disposal to the plastics collected in one of the main highways of the national road network.
The initiative "100 mil pisos para jugar", by Habitat for Humanity and FICEM, aims to replace 100,000 dirt floors with concrete in vulnerable housing throughout Latin America and the Caribbean by 2028.
The intention is to use RESIN8™ in this project, incorporating non-valuable plastics transformed into raw materials for construction.
